Minimize travel
Keep a winter survival kit in your vehicle if you do travel
Check tire pressure, antifreeze levels, heater/defroster,etc
Know how to shut off water valves at home (in case a pipe bursts)
Check on the elderly
Bring pets inside
Also, please know how to dress yourself. While you’re stocking up on TP and milk, maybe get some polypropylene layers and good socks…?
