A quick thought out plan is much harder to ignore than just winging it.
It’ll keep your focus on what you truly prioritize vice what is easy for you in the moment.

“I’m going to wake up and have this for breakfast, and then have this or that for lunch.”

“At work I need to take care of X, Y and Z.”

“I’ll run these quick errands after work!”

“Then I’ll bring my workout clothes with me when I leave for the day so I can go straight to the gym after my errands.”

An easy 5 minute plan can help you prioritize and keep yourself on track to what you actually want done.

And not just what you feel like doing in the moment.

Help yourself stay the course. We live busy lives these days. Be conscious in what you want to accomplish.

Refuse to be in the same place you were last year.

Embrace the difficulties of growth.
It’s going to be hard, but nothing worth having is easy.

Commit to change. Commit to bettering yourself.

Do not be afraid to ask for guidance through your change. Theres experts on everything, don’t waste your time figuring it out alone.

Straight up. Have the courage to be bad at something first.

Be open to failure, learn from it, and build a new plan with those lessons incorporated.

You’ll eventually fail again..

But that’s just another lesson learned, and now you’re another step closer.

Achieving your goals isn’t supposed to be easy.. where’s the satisfaction in that?

Feeling confident
Being consistent
Building a routine

Andddd more.. All progress, all deserve to be recognized

There are a lot more ways to win than just weight on the scale, or weight on the bar.

Health isn’t just physical appearance.

Don’t get caught up that fitness is just for your body.

Health & fitness is meant to include your mental too.

Be proud of those wins too.

It’s as easy as scanning the barcode on foods, or looking up a menu (they got nearly everything)

You’ll realize how much you’re under eating for growth. It’ll be eye opening to say the least.

Nutrition is a tough part of fitness, don’t do it alone.

This may sound obvious

but “lifting heavy” is going to look different from person to person.

And focusing on YOUR heavy then understanding it’s supposed to feel hard or HEAVY is sometimes lost upon us lifters

“Oooo bro that moved easy!”
“Light weight baby!!”
“You forgot to struggle bruh”

All things we hear, and say! Then when things feel heavier than you’re used to, or approaching uncharted territory starting to analyze different variables.. sometimes all you gotta do is put in a lil more effort

Effort makes the bar speedy âšĄïžâšĄïžâšĄïž

It’s almost normal these days to make fun of someone for striving to be healthy.. đŸ€Ż

“How’s the rabbit food?”

Or

“Wow, you bring lunch everyday? You’ve gotta be obsessed”

How strange is this? Why is wanting to better yourself a bad thing? Imagine if this was reversed..
People striving to be healthy made the same type of remarks?

“You actually ordered all that greasy food? And got a soda with it? Wow you must be obsessed”

Quite literally, you’d probably slap them in face.. and UNDERSTANDABLY so, it’s rude.

Strength athletes.. LISTEN UP

Those BRUTALLL deadlift days that quite literally put your body into the ground, or

These consistent 10x3 squat days you do at some outlandish percentage hurt

Too much volume and your body can’t recover. Do this too long and your body will begin to fall apart, your technique, and overall performance.

Two separate days of 3x5’s is the SAME VOLUME as a 10x3.

One leaves you able to perform the next day and after your training. Next thing you know your body will be able to recover.

The other leaves you all đŸ„ŽđŸ€•

It’s damn near impossible to be motivated EVERYDAY.

However, when you start to cultivate an environment and routine that aligns with your goals you make falling off track that much harder.

Having a fridge filled with WHOLE FOODS, and not packaged processed “food”

Bringing a water bottle with you.

Going into the gym with a plan or training program rather than a “I’ll figure it out when I get there” mentality.

Make choosing the “healthy” option convenient. Make that option the easy one!

Sure, they’re small changes.. but when these small changes turn to habits, and you begin to have these compounding benefits.

The possibilities are nearly endless.
