We see counterfeit car seats here in the Coastal Bend more than we’d like to admit-especially counterfeit Doonas. Please buy from reputable retailers (not TikTok/Temu/Shein etc), check for labels that say FMVSS213, and have correct labeling including manufacturer name, date, expiration and registration card!

Never leave a child or a pet in the car!

Even in mild weather, the inside of a car can reach dangerous temperatures.

Prevent child heatstroke in hot cars by:
🔑 Keeping cars locked and keys out of reach.
🐻 Make a visual reminder in the front seat that a child is in the back seat so no child is forgotten.
🚗 Always take children out of the car with you, even just for short trips into a store.
