Join us tomorrow morning at 9am for HIP's Annual Walk a Mile in Our Shoes event which will be held Tuesday, November 18. Participants will meet at Corpus Christi Metro Ministries by 9:00 a.m. and proceed to City Hall. Metro Ministries will graciously provide light refreshment and water in their cafeteria for the participants.

South Coastal AHEC is a drop off location for the First Annual Glove Drive by the Nueces County Community Action Agency. Drop them at our office at 400 Mann St, Ste 600, in Corpus Christi. We are conveniently located downtown in the Bayview Tower. The glove drive runs through December 1, 2025.

The Operation Health & Wellness event is a week-long community initiative that will take place July 21–26, 2025, at multiple locations across Nueces County, specifically at West Oso Junior High.

This event is a collaborative effort by numerous local healthcare and community organizations, aiming to promote health access and wellness for all residents—at no cost and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Services provided during the event include:
- General medical care
- Immunizations and vaccines
- Diabetes screenings
- Behavioral health support
- Back-to-school physicals
- Women’s exams
- Pharmacy services on-site
