Hey y’all… I’ve got a big update and something on my heart I want to share.

I just got the call that I’m being crossmatched for a kidney—which means the transplant could happen any day now. I’m officially in the top 20% of the waitlist, and while that’s such a blessing, it’s all happening faster than we expected.

There’s a lot to prepare for—travel to the hospital, a place to stay during recovery, support for my partner, care for the baby we’re fostering, and time to heal afterward. I’m doing everything I can to be ready.

I’m not just sitting back asking for donations—I’m working to raise the money myself in an honest and meaningful way through Martina’s Lemonade Stand. I’ll be doing deliveries on Tuesdays and Thursdays (on my non-dialysis days), and pop-ups on Saturdays and Sundays. Every lemonade I sell helps cover real expenses for this journey. 🍋💛

If you’d like to support, you can order, come to a pop-up, or even share this post with others. If anyone wants to donate directly, my Cash App is $TLeeSilguero—just note “kidney donation” or “medical” in the message so I know.

I’m also looking to connect with local food spots or vendors who might be open to letting me pop up with my lemonade stand. If you know anyone who might be open to that, please tag them or send them my way—it would make a huge difference.

Thank you all so much for the continued love, encouragement, and support. I’m almost there, and every little bit helps me move forward with hope. 💛

Just a few days ago, I got the incredible news that I’ll be receiving a kidney transplant within 6–8 months. It’s real, and it’s happening!

But right after that blessing, my car started stalling out—and here’s the truth: if I don’t have a reliable car when they call, I don’t get the kidney. This isn’t a want, it’s a need and I can’t depend on anyone for that ride because it could be any time of the day on any day of the week.

I’m setting up a lemonade stand fundraiser to raise money for safe transportation and a recovery stay after surgery. My last stay there was over a month.

Some have suggested a GoFundMe, and I might go that route—but for now, I’m trying to raise what I can the old-school way.

Any support from my Robstown and Corpus Christi family means the world. I’ll be updating you on my goals and when/where I’ll be doing these fundraisers.

Y'all know I haven't been very active on here, but I've been working on doing everything I need to do to get a transplant. I finally got the call, and starting today, anywhere from 6-8 months from now, I will be receiving a transplant, no ifs or buts. Y'all just don't understand how happy this makes me. I'm so blessed 🙏🏽😭🥰

Hello everyone, I'm back with a positive update after a month's break. I'm overjoyed to report I'm feeling significantly better and moving forward with my transplant journey. Last week's appointment at the transplant center was a success, and I'm eagerly anticipating my meeting with the surgeon next Tuesday. The next couple of months will be filled with three more crucial appointments, each a significant step toward my long-awaited transplant. Nine years of waiting are almost over, and I'm filled with excitement for this new lease on life. I remain hopeful my transplant call will come soon, all in divine timing. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who's followed and shared my journey. 🙏🏽

I don't know who needs to hear this today, but you’re going to be okay. Control what you can and give the rest to God. Don't miss today worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. You may not understand why you're in a certain position or why something won't work out in your favor, that’s protection. Everything happens for a reason! Don't take your eyes off of God, and he won’t take his hands off of you.

"You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." - John 13:7 🤍

The past 48 hours haven’t been the best for Martina. She is one strong woman! She is extremely swollen and woke up this morning with so much excess fluid that she had difficulty speaking. There were a few reasons why she didn’t receive dialysis for two days, but we will have to keep that part private. She will be receiving a treatment today and will be undergoing another surgery as well. Thank you to everyone who have reached out to Martina and have visited her as well. As always, please click on the link in her bio if you are considering becoming a donor for Martina.

Today, Martina tried to escape the fifth floor however, things did not work out as she needed oxygen when it dropped below 90 from running 😂 Keeping her spirits up during this extended resort stay.

Martina has been on a very long journey and wait for a transplant. During the wait she endures so much silently. We ask for your prayers and support from friends, family, and other supporters on her page. Last night was a long and painful night for her. There was an issue with her port for dialysis. She is in the hospital today and will be needing an immediate surgery. We ask for your prayers and support. Please remember to share this page and post to keep it alive and growing as Martina still needs a donor. She is very grateful for the amazing people who have already stepped forward to start the process. God bless you all and please keep her in your prayers.

Martina has been on a long and difficult journey, waiting 8 years for a kidney transplant. Recently, she bravely shared her story on the news, hoping to find a living donor who could give her a second chance at life.

Yesterday evening, we received news that touched our hearts deeply. In the midst of someone's darkest moment of losing a loved one, they made the selfless decision to donate their loved one's organs. They chose to give a kidney to Martina, this is called Directed Deceased Donation. We are deeply moved by the incredible generosity shown in such a time of sorrow. Sadly, the kidney was not a match for Martina, and she could not receive the transplant.

Martina stayed up all night, feeling the weight of this heartbreaking news. She was so close to getting a second chance but also sad for the loss of this person. 💔

Please keep Martina in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Words of encouragement would mean the world to her right now (in the comments). We believe there is still hope and that someone will come forward to be her living donor.

If you or someone you know might consider becoming a living kidney donor for Martina, please visit UTCLivingDonor.com. Let’s share this message and keep spreading hope for Martina. 🙏💚
