For over 30 years, Chief Warrant Officer Five, Julian Evans, served the nation honorably, being awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Six Meritorious Service Medals, and Six Army Commendation Medals, among others. Julian was known and respected by his colleagues as a selfless leader who always placed the needs of his family, soldiers, leadership, and fellow Warrant Officers before himself. Julian dedicated his life to serving his country and his family. Even after his passing, he served others by donating his corneas so two people could receive the gift of restored eyesight. 💙💚

We received a beautiful note from Kelly Arbaugh, Team 17

As she is nearing the anniversary of her donation, she has reflected on her experience. She is thriving physically and emotionally and has formed a deep bond with her recipient, Van, and his family.

As Kelly and so many other donors share - donating their kidney enhanced their life just as much as their recipient's.
