has a diverse menu with over 40 recipes including breakfast and snacks! They are a local Oregon company that I am excited to support!

Let’s dive in to post workout recovery. What should you be eating??? 🍒🍒

Well this depends on your goals and training style. For most resistance training the optimal recovery is 10-30g of protein and 20-60g of carbohydrates approximately 30-60 minutes following exercise. For building muscle this may go up slightly depending on your size. For endurance activities such and distance running this may be slightly less protein and more carbohydrates. The changes are minimal but can play a huge role in your recovery and ability to perform during your next workout.

I just threw some ingredients we had on hand together and this was so delicious, I could eat 10 😋.
2 multigrain waffles ( could use protein waffles for a high protein meal), Greek yogurt on both waffles so ~1/2 cup, and fruit of your choice. Delicious as a snack or small breakfast.

Supplements are a fantastic way to keep our baseline micronutrient levels optimal for our health. But they are meant to supplement our diet when it’s lacks certain nutrients, we are sick, or our absorption is not adequate. Talking with someone like myself or another medical professional is ideal before starting a routine so we can get you a plan that saves you $$, avoids toxicity, and optimizes your results. High protein apple cinnamon muffins 🍎

What you’ll need:
•1 cup oats
•1 cup whole wheat flour
•3/4 cup 0% fat Greek yogurt
•1/4 cup any type of milk or plant milk
•2 large egg
•1/3 cup brown sugar
•1/4 cup unsalted butter
•2 teaspoons vanilla extract
•2 teaspoons cinnamon
•1/4 teaspoon salt
•1 teaspoon baking soda
•1 cup finely diced apples

•optional addition naked whey 3 scoops for extra protein 💪🏼

1) preheat oven to 350°F
2) combine yogurt, milk and oats and let them soak
3) whisk together egg and brown sugar
4) add softened butter and vanilla extract to the brown sugar and egg mixture
5) add whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt
6) add in oat mixture and thoroughly combine (should be thick and kind of dough-like)
7)fill muffin tin ~ 3/4 of the way full
8) bake for about 18 mins (check with toothpick to make sure to center is done)
9) enjoy 10 grams of protein in every muffin😋

•massaged kale (olive oil massaged into raw chopped kale)

An easy, affordable, versatile, sweet treat, especially nice for hot days 🥵
I made mine by putting a thin layer of peanut butter on half a banana and freezing it. Once frozen I dipped them in melted dark chocolate and rolled them in peanuts. Keep them in the freezer until you’re ready to eat them 😋❄️😋


Other topping options:
Vanilla yogurt
Various nut butters
Coconut flakes
Freeze dried fruits
White or milk chocolate
Sunflower seeds
