When a local credit union believes every child deserves a bright start, amazing things happen.

Our friends at TLC, a Division of Fibre Federal Credit Union, are helping children learn, grow and play through their Communities First program, supporting both the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation and the Pacific Communities Health District Foundation.

🎠 At North Lincoln, their support is helping expand the Samaritan Early Learning Center, starting with the playground, so kids have a fresh, fun place to play and explore.

📚 At Pacific Communities, TLC’s gift helps give books to kids under 5 during clinical well-child visits through Reach Out and Read. It’s a simple way to help families connect and build a love for reading.

From story time to play time, TLC is partnering with Samaritan Foundations to help Lincoln County kids grow up happy and healthy. 💛

A medical office receptionist for Lincoln City clinics, she was selected for her willingness to help, teach and support staff and patients when she filled in at a clinic that was not her home clinic.

The people from Laboratory, Imaging and Volunteer Services who represented Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital had loads of fun interacting with the students! ❤️ 😄

GSRMC Auxiliary proudly presented a donation of $24,950.47 to Valley Hospitals CEO Sy Johnson and Samantha Maxon, manager of administration earlier this week.
This generous contribution was made possible through Good Sam’s Gifts and a variety of Auxiliary-sponsored events, including Care Wear Scrub Sales, flower sales and leather handbag sales.
The money will fulfill 33 funding requests from 17 departments for items not covered by standard budgets—such as:
🩺 Wheelchairs for patient access
💓 Blood pressure cuffs for home monitoring
🛏️ Weighted blankets for oncology patients
🏠 New linens for The Mario Pastega House
We’re honored to support our medical center and help meet the needs of our patients and staff. 💙

Samaritan will remain locally governed while gaining new resources to expand access, modernize facilities and strengthen health care across our region. This marks MultiCare’s first health system affiliation in Oregon.

When a patient’s MRI was denied (twice) Lisa didn’t give up. She made calls to the insurance company, asked questions and kept pushing until she got the approval that made a difference in that patient’s care. Her persistence and compassion show just how much she cares about doing what’s right for our patients. 💙
