Not sure how much protein you actually need?

Here’s the simple formula:

👉 For maintenance:
0.7–0.8 grams per pound of body weight

👉 For fat loss:
0.8–1.0 grams per pound of GOAL body weight

👉 For muscle gain:
0.8–1.0 grams per pound of current body weight

Example:
If you weigh 170 lbs and want to maintain →
170 × 0.75 = ~128g protein/day

If your goal weight is 150 lbs →
150 × 0.9 = ~135g protein/day

Most people under-eat protein by 30–50g per day.
