Gallop To Growth Equine Assisted Psychotherapy We are an experiential equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) and equine-assisted learning (EAL) practice in Layton, UT.

We provide evidence-based therapy to all ages by harnessing the healing power of horses as co-facilitators in the therapeutic process. At Gallop To Growth, we believe in providing comprehensive mental health care that caters to the unique needs of each individual. We offer a range of services, including traditional mental health therapy and equine-assisted psychotherapy. We believe that every person deserves access to quality mental health care, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment where our clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. Gallop To Growth is seeking passionate therapists who are interested in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
Therapists who join our team will receive training in the EAGALA Model, supported by an experienced LCSW who is a certified EAGALA Mental Health Professional and an EAGALA Designated Military Service Provider, as well as a skilled Equine Specialist with a BS Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences with an emphasis in Equine Science from Utah State University.
We have a dedicated equine therapy facility, a team of certified therapy horses, and—most importantly—a waiting list of children and families who are desperately seeking alternative therapeutic options, which is both humbling and heartbreaking.
Gallop To Growth is an ideal setting for therapists looking for meaningful part-time opportunities. In addition to equine-assisted work, we offer traditional therapy opportunities, clinical supervision for CSWs, and internship placements.
