To put this long yearling c**t's size into perspective, he's standing next to my sons 15.3, 1,300lb Head Horse Maverick in muddy Molalla OR. By the time he stops growing I'm pretty sure he'll be able to pull anything off its feet at the end of a rope.

Envy was a breeding we were hoping for a filly by Worthy Ofa Driftwood (2016) to retain for our Lucky Blanton studs to cross on. She came out coal black but turned blue later on, it didn't take but a couple weeks to know she was a keeper in build type and demeanor. Worthy as usual out produces himself and compliments his mares by bringing out his background genetics that create larger bone & muscle especially when that's were a mare might be lacking a bit. Envy is as big as the huge Lucky Blanton stud c**t Big Iron Blanton by Sundance out of Worthy's dam. She's going to be huge and capable of doing anything a gelding can.
Foxy has produced 4 outstanding well put together Ranch/Rodeo prospects by JHB Double Driftwood (2005), 3 stud c**ts, 1 filly. Broken Spur Slack was selected to be a Rope/Bull Do***ng Horse to remain intact for a future breeding stallion and take care of 2 little cowboys in the future to start amateur rodeo here in Northeastern Oregon, another Broken Spur Maverick went to Southern Idaho to be a future PRCA Heel horse and breeding stallion for a rodeo breeding program as well as a future amateur rodeo horse for the kiddos. Both are still intact and completing their Broken Spur breeding purpose.

Sundance Blanton's 2026 "Lucky Blanton, Driftwood & Hancock" foal crop should be a dandy with lots of color, bone, brains, looks & extra heavy-duty muscle packed into 9 Ranch/Rodeo Rope expected prospects.

Having a "Driftwood" Stallion like "Dbl D" to build base mares has been a blessing. By far one of the closest resemblances in a modern-day stallion to "Driftwood" himself in Build Type, Color, Foundation Blood % & the Innate Ability to pass the Driftwood Traits and Attributes to his offspring. Always the gentleman to his mares he also is used to tease the mares for his counterpart breeding corps stallions when they are being difficult and need a little extra sweet talk. SOP around here during breeding season is if she still isn't showing signs and being cranky take her to "Dbl D" for a bit, he'll get her in the mood. He has never missed uniformly stamping his get with every mare presented no matter their breeding thru every foal crop over the years. Hard to tell his grand get apart in the brood mare band. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to purchase one of his c**ts has been overwhelmed by their ease and willingness of trainability besides their wonderful temperament & demeanor. Those that have selected his stud c**ts for breeding operations have ended up with a "Driftwood" breeding stallion that can still work a ranch, perform at a high level in the arena, and the family can ride as well. His get is spreading all over the country and besides performance homes are being used on some of the largest western working ranches in the country that the horse is still the primary tool of choice to get the job done in this day and age. From 4-H to and everything in-between and now just recently a 2024 filly to a NFR home in ID to build a program, "Dbl D" at 20yrs has a lot left in the tank and I can honestly say that no matter how hard I could try I wouldn't be able to replace this gem of a True "Driftwood" Stallion nor would I need to, he built the entire foundation of the program.
He will stand bred in hand to select outside mares for the 2026 breeding season here at the ranch 25 APR thru 1 AUG 2026. If there are enough mares that need cooled shipped for earlier breeding, we will get him to a facility.

This one c**t could potentially provide the LB bloodline another 20yrs plus.

With Brick only 3xs LB and out of 3 different tail female lines thru: Kitty Blanton, Dusky Ruth & Luckys Last, he brings in the ability to cross over pretty much any modern LB mares and keep the COI low.
We shoot for 5% or lower. Alot of breeders will say 10% is standard but, in my experience pushing 10% has had more outcrops of genetic disorders than worth it.

Classy! Red Dun+chrome, Driftwood over Quincy Dan/Smooth Town, Performance Arena/Ranch prospect for anyone competing in multiple disciplines, like heeling, tie-down, break-away, barrels, reining ect.. Snappy flat break standing start, super agile and easy to get along with, handles pressure, very confident non pushy, the Driftwood really comes out in her demeanor. Beautiful head and all the bulk of muscle where she needs it to handle roping duties and speed events. Nothing lazy about this girl with her breeding so she'll give it when asked.
