I have been practicing clinical social work in RI for over 20 years. Issues that I regularly work with include depression, anxiety, divorce and family of origin issues. I value the therapeutic relationship and feel it is necessary to develop a healthy relationship with a therapist in order to do the work necessary to resolve issues. I believe that it is important to look at our history to discover where some of our core beliefs come from and whether they are having an impact on our current life. If so and it is a negative impact, it is important to work toward changing those negative beliefs and thought patterns into more healthy ones.
