-Wellness checks and screening
-Learning about your cycle & natural family planning/fertility awareness, whether that means planning for a new pregnancy or planning on avoiding one
-Breastfeeding
-Returning to work
-Talk about boys
-A good cry
-Cloth Diapering
-Baby Wearing
-Talk about birth

If you have ever driven in labor or lugged a car seat into the car to get home after labor (and sat in the car 😣 IYKYK) then you can only imagine how amazing it feels to have your birth team come to you, and tuck you into your own bed afterwards.

I went back and forth for a long time considering about posting yearly “stats” because it felt so insensitive and so focused on the “number”. But the community spoke and unanimously agreed that providers yearly stats should be public information.

The entire Devotion Midwifery team is so honored to have walked with each of these families on their unique journey and is looking forward to 2026 with deep, deep, Devotion ✨

It was hard to talk or post about our amazing 2025 stats when honestly I felt like so much more care didn’t happen than it did.

That’s not to say that all of the beautiful births we attended and care we gave wasn’t the greatest part of my life. It’s just that I felt we left so many without care or choices due to gaps and barriers.

We are looking ahead at 2026 with as much change and impact as we can make…. One birth at a time and hopefully this year, many many more.
