Today we had the sweetest visit from Sassy and Lindy, and they sure brightened everyone’s day! ❤️ Our residents lit up with joy as they petted, cuddled, and shared love with these furry friends.

🎃 Pumpkin Carving & Precious Memories 🎃

Today our Memory Care residents had a gourd-geous time carving pumpkins! 🧡 The sights, smells, and textures of pumpkin season brought smiles, laughter, and some wonderful moments of reminiscence.

Engaging the senses — the touch of the pumpkin’s smooth surface, the smell of fresh pumpkin, and the sight of vibrant orange — helps awaken long-term memories and spark joyful connections. These sensory experiences can comfort, calm, and create meaningful engagement for those living with dementia.

🎵 Music, Movement & Memories! 🥁
Our dementia care residents had an absolute blast during Drum Fit — using rhythm, laughter, and a few dance moves to make music together!

Music has a wonderful way of connecting us, lifting moods, and sparking joyful memories. 💜 Watching smiles, tapping hands, and feet keeping time reminded us how powerful music can be in reaching the heart — no matter where someone is on their dementia journey.

We are preparing for our annual Holiday Bazaar on November 8th. We are looking for vendors to showcase their handcrafted gifts for the holiday season. Vendors' cost is $20 for two tables and includes our homemade chicken and noodles. All proceeds go to" The Night To Shine."
