Second half of the ski trip to polar plunge into the southern ocean. Coldest water I’ve ever been in. All you Colorado people know cold water and THIS was cold.

Welcome to Paradise! Not even halfway through our expedition. Chris and I got a day to ourselves! This day was one of my favorite nature days. We skied some breakable crust, corn, and hot pow.

More exciting than the skiing, we witnessed wilderness in its pure form: penguin colonies and whales making their close presence in Paradise Bay.

Shout out to Forever grateful for my hubby , personal mountain guide, and personal photographer. He kept me safe, dealt with the occasional whining, and lead me to places I never thought could be in my future.

How do you sum up a dream of all dreams? Our trip has been unreal to say the least but here are a few from our time in Ushuaia, Argentina to getting eyes on the the white continent after crossing the Drake Passage for 2 days. 4 days in Ushuaia, 2 days on the drake !

Sun salutations are the foundation of vinyasa yoga or to move in a conscious way.

108 is an auspicious number in many traditions throughout the world.
The distance between the Earth and Sun is approximately 108 times the Sun’s diameter!

This number represents wholeness and cosmic order. Overall, 108 can be seen as a universal number of spiritual completeness or connection between the macrocosm and microcosm.

It is on the solstice that our prayers have more potency.

Let us salute the Sun and pray for our beloved land, people, communities, and leaders 🫶🙏🌈

Ok ok gush alert!!!
Holly you are it. You brighten my life in every way.
I literally love doing EVERYTHING with you.

Dancing, sleeping, hiking, traveling, seeing music, shopping, riding bikes, chilling with the dogs, road tripping, crafting, sewing, going to yoga classes, talking and drinking coffee (or tea).

You know how much I love you because you love me just the same. It’s an incredible gift to love you and be loved by you!

I don’t know how I got so dang lucky ahh!

In this photo, you see a person PERFORMING the classic dancer’s pose.

What is actually happening that isn’t shown:
I was being bitten by knats, the ground was extremely uneven, the wind was blowing, this was over 14,000ft of elevation and I was tired from our hike there.
What’s happening internally:
I am breathing deeply. I am pressing into the big toe mound of my standing leg to lift my arches and pull the quad off of the knee to avoid hypertension. My lifted foot is kicking HARD into my hand to create an energetic lock, meanwhile dialing the hip down to keep my pelvis level and spine long. My lower ribs are knitting in to engage my abdominals and pelvic floor. I relax my face and simultaneously reach out through my opposite hand with a fierceness. All the while keeping the heart OPEN!

The pose represents dancing on our illusions of separation in the face of challenges and death. How can you be king of the dance?

I am back teaching my Sunday class!

It will be in the WARM room so that we may reach new depths in the practice. In the physical, we explore the internal.
