Closing a 20-year chapter and starting a brand new one. 🌿🏡

​For the first time in 20 years, I’m not making Fiddlebump’s this year.

​Writing that feels surreal. For two decades, I poured my heart into making personal care products, but more importantly, I poured my heart into you—this incredible community. We built relationships that went far beyond jars and labels.

​I've tried to jump back in multiple times, but I realized that while I loved that season of my life, it is officially time for a new venture. ✌️

​I am embracing life as a true "multipotentialite!" Currently, I am serving as an Employment Specialist for adults with disabilities, working as a waitress at a German restaurant (schnitzel, anyone? 🥨), and diving headfirst into my newest endeavor: Real Estate Agent here in Virginia!

​While the products are gone, I would LOVE to keep the relationships! ♥️

Today marks 95 years since one of the most Amazing humans was born, my Granddaddy. If you knew him, you loved him & you know that he loved you, too. He radiated joy, love, understanding, peace, encouragement, support, acceptance, gentleness, grace, kindness, authenticity, generosity, charm & cheerfulness. He was love in motion.If you were the recipient of a secret random act of kindness - it was likely from him. 💕He had the highest vibration & made everyone know they were someone important. He woke up whistling, was constantly celebrating life & was ever present. He taught me to find joy in the little things - a beautiful sunset, a whipperwhil song, sharing a smile with a stranger. He had the most jovial spirit. He was one of my biggest cheerleaders in life & had a huge impact on the person I am. People used to comment that I looked like him & that I was like him - one of the best compliments I could ever receive. ❤️ Im down here trying to fill one of your shoes Granddaddy. I see you in the winks & waves from the great beyond. I'm eternally grateful for the gift you were in my life. Until we meet again - ❤️ Fiddlebump

Ingredient to Avoid 🚫

DEA (diethanolamine), MEA (monoethanolamine), TEA (triethanolamine):

DEA and MEA are usually listed on the label in conjunction with the compound being neutralized, so look for names like Cocomide DEA or MEA, Lauraminde DEA, and so on. These are hormone-disrupting chemicals known to form cancer-causing nitrates and nitrosamines. They are almost always in products that foam, including bubble baths, body washes, shampoos, soaps and facial cleaners. On the show “CBS This Morning,” Dr. Samuel Epstein, professor of environmental health at the University of Illinois, said, “Repeated skin applications of DEA-based detergents resulted in a major increase in the incidence of two cancers – liver and kidney cancers.” John Bailey, head of the cosmetic division of the FDA, says that the new study is especially important since “the risk equation changes significantly for children.” Tests at the University of Bologna in Italy found TEA to be the most frequent sensitizer used in cosmetics, gels, shampoos, creams, lotions, etc.
