After 10 months of training there - Dorothy finally let me celebrate her by taking a picture!

Dorothy is what we like to call a "Super Member"

A super member is someone who week in and week out checks "takes action" on the NFSS best practices list.

Super Member Best practices:
#1 - Books classes in advance every month
#2 - has a strong WHY & keeps it in active memory
#3 - sticks to the work & rest timer ratios
#4 - Shows up with a positive attitude
#5 - Ambassador to the NFSS way & Tells friends

Dorothy is just getting started and since she's been here the last 10 months the progress she has made has been exciting.

Dorothy, secret to consistently showing up is booking her classes ahead of time each month. This way she sees it on her calendar and on the days that she doesn't want to come, she is reminded that she already planned the time for it. So the excuses of not having the time are not existent.

Awesome job Dorothy and cheers to your next 150 workouts!

How we teach the PUSHUP

We love teaching pushups here at the gym because of its immediate use into everyday life & not to mention the confidence it gives you!!

If your a beginner no problem - here is how we start

Step 1: start with a bar hip level & where you hold
Step 2: teach you how to brace
Step 3: lowering to the bar w/ eyes, heart & belt buckle
Step 4: elbows tight to the side

There it is! Start practicing!

Decrease your Stress with Daily walks!

One of my favorite habits is daily walking in park.

It's simple, repeatable and allows you to check in with the outdoors each day.

If your looking to decrease your stress then give walking a shot.

Best practices:
(1) Find a park with a loop
(2) Leave phone in car
(3) Go for at least 20mins to get into a flow

Guest lecture at Rider University - Entrepreneurial class

This was the second year guest lecturing for entrepreneurial class and I am grateful for the opportunity.

I remember in college my favorite class was entrepreneurship and listening to speakers and business owners tell their stories.

So it's been quite a full circle moment giving back to these young entrepreneurs.
