Yesterday we celebrated the sweetness of the season with a special Easter Egg Hunt for our residents and the kiddos from Kids R Kids Day Care Center-Crystal Lake.
With bright colors, cheerful music and lots of laughter, our residents delighted in watching the kids search for eggs, sharing smiles and creating meaningful moments together.
A big thank you to our amazing team, families and friends who donated items for the hunt and especially the teachers at Kids R Kids Daycare for partnering with us to make this event possible!

VERONICA “Ronnie” EMORY

Ronnie is a dedicated Executive Director who began her career as a CNA in this very building, bringing firsthand experience and compassion to her leadership. Though shy by nature, she leads with quiet strength and is deeply motivated by the residents and families she serves.

Her greatest joy is listening to residents’ stories-each one a reminder of the experiences and history that make Encore a special community. 👵🏻🏡

Outside of work, Ronnie is a devoted partner and parent, who loves spending quality time with her significant other and children and cheering on any Chicago sports team! 👶🏻

Our community celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a joyful party filled with music, laughter and a whole lot of green! Residents enjoyed festive treats and shared smiles that lit up the room! 🤗💚
Moments like these remind us how important connection, celebration and simple joy are in creating a warm and vibrant community.
We’re so grateful to our amazing residents and team members for making the day so special.

What a treat it was for our residents to attend the play/musical Mamma Mia at Crystal Lake Central High School this week!
It was so special to laugh, cheer and sing along and watch all the hard work and talent on stage.
Thank you to the entire staff, crew, orchestra and directors who made it possible!

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting a very special resident and family gathering. ❤️
It was such a joy to see our residents and their loved ones gathered together enjoying the music, delicious food and creating meaningful memories.

Another day of celebration at Encore Memory Care at Crystal Lake! We had our own Mardi Gras festival! We dined on paczki from Country Donuts, donned our fancy masks and beads and listened to some great music!

Valentine’s Day at Encore Memory Care at Crystal Lake was sweet! Residents tasted chocolates, received flowers and snacked on desserts prepared by our dining team. All while listening to romantic music and reminiscing about love! ❤️
