Elderberry Syrup & Elixirs It was the year 2020 and I discovered that, like many other Americans, I did not want to work at a job I did not enjoy anymore.

I thankfully had an understanding boss who granted me a leave of absence during the beginning of Covid. It was hard in the beginning. Yet, I have always worked hard, worked long hours, and never saw my family. To me COVID was an opportunity to see the bigger picture, I am nothing without my family and my health. It was then that I became passionate about natural remedies and the body’s ability to heal itself through food and herbs. Over the years I have always struggled with my weight. With three pregnancies over 5 years, it did not make it easy. It may have been a struggle, but I always managed to get myself back. It was about hard work, dedication, and working with my body. Thus, after my third pregnancy, a blood test revealed that my thyroid was not working properly and my omegas and vitamin D were low. I was tired all the time, not losing my baby weight, and feeling down. I quickly started to take thyroid support herbs, topical iodine, and omega-3 fish oils and changed my diet. Within a month, I was starting to feel like myself again, losing weight and not being so tired all the time. After changing my diet and taking supplements, the numbers on my blood tests were heading in the right direction. This proves to me that your body only needs the right tools to heal itself.
