Dr. B**g Dal Kim, the visionary founder of Emperor’s College, passed peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by family. We are grateful to Dr. Kim for his pioneering leadership as he set the foundation for Emperor’s College to become one of the leading institutions of East Asian medicine in the United States. He dedicated his life to service, caring for his students, patients, and all in need of support and direction. May we use all that we have learned from Dr. Kim at Emperor’s for the benefit of all beings everywhere, with love and compassion. Om mani padme hum.

Tribute to Dr. Frank Bahr (1944–2025)
It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of Dr. Frank Bahr, a passionate advocate of auricular medicine and founder of the Deutsche Akademie für Akupunktur und Aurikulomedizin (DAA) in Germany.
He dedicated his entire career to Auriculotherapy, as well as Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, earning several honorary professorships, notably from the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A former student of Dr. Paul Nogier, he made a major contribution to the development and recognition of auricular medicine in German-speaking countries and beyond.
Author of numerous publications and reference works, he shared his expertise as a lecturer around the world. His work on the energy meridian (“Bahr’s meridian”), the effects of frequencies, and his innovative therapeutic approaches have inspired several generations of practitioners.
