Our Touch-A-Truck event is dedicated to raising awareness about the critical need to strengthen and foster resilience in our veterans and first responders. The individuals who protect and serve our community deserve support that extends beyond applause.

This event is about connection. It’s about education. It’s about standing beside those who stand for us.

Grand prize raffle tickets can be purchased at our headquarters at 889 Wimpy Mill Rd, or at Tritts Sporting Goods 550 Grove St N, or during the event!

At The Wellness Armory, community is the heart of everything we are about.

A strong and connected community is one of the most powerful protective factors against su***de for our veterans and first responders. The work we do here is only possible because of the people who stand beside us... our neighbors, friends, family, and supporters who believe in showing up for one another.

This is a big part of why our first big fundraiser means so much.

We are asking for your help! Whether that looks like sharing this post, donating, or coming to the event to see some amazing vehicles (shout out to Mountain Top Jeepers, the Dahlonega Car Club, the Dahlonega Fire Dept, the Sheriffs Dept, the Ga National Guard and many others who we are currently planning with), and grabbing a meal and spending time together. Every share, every dollar, every conversation and every handshake matters! It all creates a positive impact for those who serve and protect our community.

This event isn't just a fundraiser... we hope it also serves as a physical reminder that none of us are meant to do life alone.

🚨⚠️🤝We're excited to announce that The Wellness Armory and Objective X-RAY , with support from the wonderful Lumpkin County Parks and Recreation department, will be hosting a Touch-A-Truck event!

💡This exciting family-friendly event gives the community a chance to see some incredible vehicles, connect with local vendors, and come together for a meaningful cause.

🎯All proceeds will support mental health services for veterans and first responders. These individuals give so much to our community, and this event helps ensure they have access to the care and support they deserve.

💙We hope you'll bring your family, invite your friends, and join us for a great day of community, connection, and giving back.

We are excited to be joining forces with Objective X-RAY on this incredible event. We look forward to seeing you on the river in March! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or comments!

We’re excited to team up with The Wellness Armory to host our 2nd Annual Waders & Warriors event on the beautiful Chestatee River in Dahlonega, Georgia 🇺🇸

Our event mission is to introduce veterans and first responders to meaningful outdoor experiences that offer peace, connection, and restoration—something the river provides like nothing else.

Never fly fished before? No problem. Experienced guides will be on hand to walk you through everything, from casting to landing your first fish.

No gear? No worries. All fly fishing equipment is provided—you just need to show up ready to enjoy the water and the experience.

Lunch will be provided at 12 PM both days for both fishing groups (optional).

We’re honored to serve those who serve and can’t wait to spend time on the river together.

We are stepping into 2026 with deep gratitude and big momentum at The Wellness Armory. Thanks to the support of our community, we’re expanding our ability to serve veterans, first responders, and their families.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead:

📅 Jan 14 – Bingo Fundraiser at the Parks & Rec Building (chili included!)
Monday Night Vet Group is starting back up on Feb 2
🎣 March – Private fly fishing experience with Objective X-Ray, pairing veterans with private guides
🚒 Coming Soon – Touch-A-Truck event at Yahoola Creek Park with special guests & sponsors in the works

Today our team came together for planning, vision mapping, and some really meaningful conversations about where The Wellness Armory and Objective X-RAY are headed.

We’re laying intentional groundwork behind the scenes, and while we can’t share all the details just yet, we can say this: we’re genuinely excited about what’s coming in 2026 and the ways we’ll continue to show up for our community.
