is rapidly approaching! is a worldwide movement that is dedicated to giving back. Tuesday, December 2nd, is a day of global giving and a chance for us to come together to change the lives of our community cats here in Southwest Virginia. 🐈

TNR SWVA is a small group of cat lovers making a BIG difference in the Roanoke Valley & surrounding areas. Our volunteers work tirelessly to control the cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return. Throughout this process, the cats that we humanely trap are sterilized, vaccinated for rabies and ear tipped to identify them as being altered. Each kitty receives pain control, flea & tick prevention and often dewormer. We frequently come across those who are in need of some extra TLC, and we do not hesitate to step up! The following are just a few of the extra surgeries and treatments that we have been able to assist with: hernia repair, pr*****ed re**um repair, pillow foot repair, dental cleaning & tooth extraction, polyp removal, general wound repair and treatment for various infections.

We have a high demand for assistance, and the majority of our community cat caretakers are financially restricted. Since January, we have been able to assist 522 cats and 4 dogs with spay/neuter surgeries alone!

Your donation—big or small—makes a HUGE impact on our ability to:
💉 provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines & flea/tick prevention.
🍲 supply caretakers with food for community cats.
🏠 build shelters to help keep community cats warm this winter.
