May has been a time for much transition in my little world. I had the privilege to resign from Year Up where I had been working for the last 4.5 years and focus on Remarkable Wellness as a private practice. I also am now a student again. I have been accepted into Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. I will be working towards a certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. This last week, I got to spend a 5 days with this incredible cohort of healers- 120 therapists, doctors, nurses and shamans who have decided to step into a field that is uncharted in the western world of modern medicine. I am buzzing with both gratitude and excitement to be part of this journey. I understand that this is a controversial topic, I am completely open to discussion- but also encourage anyone who may be interested to look into MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) a non-profit organization that has been leading the movement and pushing for legal and therapeutic purpose of these medicines.
