Why am I a birth worker? Never would I have ever thought that I would be here doing this work! Well first, it’s a honor and it’s also very personal.. I know what it’s like to go alone and in my opinion no woman should ever have to birth alone.. Pregnancy, birth and life after is a time meant to be spent in love , in a loving environment and with loving and caring people ushering you into a new role… So If I can bring love into a woman’s life , her family & babies life then that’s what I will do.. Love only begets more love❤️

Dates. Are. AWESOME.
Besides being a sweet and delish treat, dates contain the B vitamin folate, an important nutrient during pregnancy as it prevents serious birth defects such as spina bifida. Doctors recommend that pregnant women take folate in a folic acid supplement to reach the daily recommended amount of 600 mcg. Dates provide 15 mcg of folate per 100-gram serving.
If diabetes is not a factor in your pregnancy, eating 6 date fruits per day starting at about 36 weeks may help prepare your body for labor. Snack , queens!

Why have a doula? What are the benefits?
A doula is a trained professional who provides expert guidance for the service of others and who supports another person through a significant health-related experience, such as childbirth, miscarriage, induced abortion or stillbirth, as well as non-reproductive experiences such as dying.
In childbirth, a doula's primary responsibility is to advocate for the mother, encouraging and helping her fulfill specific desires she might have for her birth. The goal of a doula is to help the mother experience a positive and safe birth, whether an unmedicated birth or a cesarean.
