We talk a lot about getting stronger, building stability, and improving performance. But what often gets overlooked is the other half of the equation. Relaxation.

Your body cannot stay in a constant state of tension and expect to function well. This is especially true for the pelvic floor. Muscles that never fully relax can become just as problematic as muscles that are weak.

True strength comes from balance. It is the ability to contract and to release. To support and to soften. When your body learns how to do both, movement feels better, pain decreases, and everything works more efficiently.

If you are always pushing, always holding, always bracing, this is your reminder to slow down. Breathe. Stretch. Give your body the space it needs to recover and reset.

Relaxation is not a break from progress. It is part of the process.

If you have ever been told that period pain is just part of being a woman, this is your reminder that it is not something you have to just accept.

Yes, cramps can happen.
But pain that stops you from living your life, missing work, canceling plans, or relying on medication every cycle deserves more attention.

Your body is not being dramatic.
It is communicating.

Pelvic floor tension, breathing patterns, core coordination, and nervous system responses all play a role in how your body experiences pain.

And the good news is, these are things we can actually address.

You deserve to understand your body, not fight against it every month.

If this sounds like you, you are not alone and you have options.

Save this for later and share it with someone who needs to hear it.

If you are only training your abs…
you are missing a big part of your core

Your core is not just your abs
It includes your diaphragm
your deep core muscles
and your pelvic floor

These muscles work together
to manage pressure, support your spine,
and keep your body functioning well

If one part is not doing its job
your body will compensate

That is when we start to see things like
leaking, pressure, pain, or instability

Stronger is not always better
Better coordination is

Start thinking about how your core works together
not just how hard your abs are working

Save this as a reminder
and follow for more pelvic floor and core education 🤍

Preparing your body for birth is not about being perfect
it is about feeling connected, informed, and supported

Your breath matters
Your pelvic floor matters
How you move matters

Birth is not just something that happens to you
it is something your body actively participates in

When you understand how to coordinate your breath
relax your pelvic floor
and move with intention
you can go into birth with more confidence and less fear

You do not need to do everything
you just need to start somewhere

Save this for your pregnancy journey
and come back to it when you need a reminder

If you have ever been told this is “just part of being a woman”
this is your reminder
it is not

You deserve to move, laugh, and live
without leaking, pain, or pressure

Your body is not broken
it just needs the right guidance 🤍

You’ve been told to just do Kegels, but what if that’s not the answer 🤯

A tight pelvic floor is often already overworking, not weak.

That can look like
• Pain with s*x or tampons
• Trouble fully relaxing
• Tension in your hips or low back

The goal is not just strength, it is coordination, control, and relaxation.

Let’s take the guesswork out of it 💛

Breastfeeding is such a special time, but it shouldn’t come with constant neck and upper back pain 🤍

If you’re feeling sore a few weeks into your routine, you’re not alone. The way you’re sitting, holding your baby, or supporting your body can make a huge difference.

✨ Try this:
• Use a breastfeeding pillow to bring baby up to you
• Relax your shoulders (no hunching!)
• Take stretch breaks for your neck + upper back
• Explore different feeding positions to find what feels best

Your comfort matters too, mama. You deserve to feel supported while you care for your baby 💛
