Self-care is described as the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health.
In our daily life, we focus on meeting the needs of our family, children, friends, employers etc. Often times we put our needs at last. This can take a toll on our well-being – physical, emotional and mental.
Self-care does not mean being self-indulgence or being selfish. Self-care means taking care of yourself so that you have optimal physical, emotional and mental health. Self-care helps you to be at your best in every way so that you perform all the tasks to your best of ability.
