Prevention is always the most effective cure. To be in front of a problem has a higher success rate that trying to fix it after the fact. Yes, we say our thoughts and prayers are with the families in Uvalde, but our actions and cares to make changes would have been more easily received and likely we would have avoided this being an issue.
