I've read that people tend to see negatives more than positives because our brains are hard wired to look out for potential danger. Thanks brain, but it seems you have complicated a few totally safe situations. I'm not suggesting to throw all caution to the wind, but there is a time to slow down, calm the rush of thoughts and see the situation as it is rather than how I am. Then move forward.

For Our Mind: Let's talk about affirmations!

Like most things good for me it took a while for me to warm up and get used to the idea of them as useful or valid. The more studying, practicing and finding what words meant the most to me the more I felt the effects.

Affirmations are a way of centering or focusing your mind on what you can control and creating new thought patterns. I started using them to deal with anxiety and stress. Now they are the first line of defense against falling in to habit patterns that dont serve my highest good.

We get so used to the organized chaos of our own lives we forget how many aspects of it we really dont have control over...
In times like these I find so much comfort in dipping my toes in the only chaos that exists which makes some kind of beautiful sense...
Take some time to slip off your shoes and take a little walk outside...
Allow your energy and that of the earth to intermingle with out barriers...
Look at how all the plants and bugs and debris pile together in no particular way, creating that which holds us all together. Take a few deep mindful breaths and remember you are part of it too.

➡️How important is self love? It is arguably the most important aspect of your personal life.
➡️WHY? Because You are the garden from which Your life sprouts; Everything you produce, how your body responds, what you think and how you feel comes from with in the vessel that is only you.
➡️Self love is not necessarily extravagance. More times than not we need to love ourselves by setting firm boundaries, challenging ourselves outside our comfort zone or simply changing our train of thought when is derails to negative self talk.
➡️ These things (or whatever your soul needs to feel nourished) can be really hard to put in to practice, but You are Worth the Time Energy and Effort❤

One of the hardest parts of my wellness journey (and working with others) is realizing it is in fact a Journey!
So often I get caught in my head with, when I 'feel' this way or 'look' that way then I will be happy , then I will be healthy. The truth is that is not a sustainable view at all.
Wellness, true Health is a constant practice, a one choice at a time moment to moment decision to choose the best thing.
