Lately, my inner mantra has been ‘surrender.. surrender.. surrender.’

Being on a plane, flying through a hurricane in the worst turbulence I’ve ever experienced: ‘focus on your breath and surrender.. surrender..’.
——
Starting at a new workplace with new people, new processes, and new emotions: ‘focus on your breathe and surrender.. surrender..’.
——
Navigating the many thoughts and opinions I encounter on a daily basis over current events: ‘allow all emotions to exist and surrender.. surrender..’.
——
Trying to remind myself that when things are outside of my control, the most powerful thing we can do is center ourselves and surrender...🙏🏼✨

Very (!!!) excited that I will be hosting my first ever Nutrition Workshop: MINDFUL NUTRITION- Exploring Your Relationship with Food. 🤗🌯🥬

In this 90-minute workshop, we will be blending the worlds of nutrition and mindfulness to help explore how you approach food. We will focus on bringing awareness to the choices we make and habits we’ve developed, as well as learn some basic science around a low-inflammatory approach to food.
——
Rooted in mindful self-compassion and acceptance, you will explore your relationship to food and learn to tune into what your body needs in the present moment. We will be diving into breathwork, journaling, and mindfulness meditation to provide you some tools in making empowered decisions towards YOUR health.

No body is the same, and no nourishment plan is one-size-fits all. No matter the goal, we take a unique and individualized approach using habit-based nutrition coaching to help guide choices and provide the education to know what works best.
——
Nutrition is one of the 3 foundational pillars of my consulting business and where we see 80-90% of our results. I coach people who want specifics (carb cycling, macro coaching, etc..) and also clients who want to focus on an overall lifestyle change for better health and energy. Consulting is about meeting the client where they are at and introducing nutrition goals that they can maintain LONG TERM. Why give someone a cup of water, when I can lead them to a whole waterfall 💦💙

STOP AND TAKE THE PICTURE📸

This is one of my mantras while running; taking time to remind myself that running brings me so much more than calories burned or goals to hit.
——
Running brings me JOY. It brings me a sense of calm and freedom. It takes me to hidden places I would maybe pass by too quickly. And last year, it even brought me my first home... all because I stopped and took a picture of a new ‘For Sale’ sign spotted on one of my favorite running paths☺️❤️
——
For me, running is a reminder that movement is more than achieving body goals or filling inadequate gaps. It’s an opportunity to move stagnant energy that may be coursing through my body. And I only wish to help people find and experience this type of joy when they let go of expectations and start to move and FEEL their body. So begin to drop a few inches below your head, and come back to your body and what can truly feel good💫⚡️

MOVEMENT. By learning to harness the power of our own breath and strength of our body, we can ultimately set out to achieve both physical and mental goals. Movement not only feels good for the body, it empowers us to challenge the baseline of what’s possible.

This is one of the many services I offer with my business. With my background in sports medicine, I have worked with a variety of special population clients (Elderly, injured, pregnant), along with traditional weight loss/strength gain clients, I always love a good challenge 💪🏼 During my sessions, I get to know my clients mentally and physically so I know when to push and when to pull back, ultimately meeting the client right where they are at while challenging them to embody their best self.
