Earlier today I toured BasePoint and it was a wonderful experience! Basepoint Academy | Breakthrough, offers outpatient mental health services for teens (11-18 y.o.) and young adults (18-35 y.o.). Their new facility has an on staff double board certified medical doctor, nurses, licensed mental providers and a wonderful intentional staff. They do FREE mental health assessments to see your level of mental health need.

Funny story, the CEO, Blake, and I, met during my care management years when I worked for a managed care organization. I recommended so many of my teens to their outpatient program and saw wonderful results! Fast forward my friend, Mila Morris, MBA was recently hired by them and she invited me to attend their Tour De Frisco, so of course I obliged. Little did I know I would get to met him today, not as a case manager but a business owner. Life comes full circle and grateful to see professional relationships evolve. Years ago they had one facility and now they have 4!

Basepoint’s network is phenomenal and I met some amazing people doing the work; that's needed for adolescents, adults, their families, their schools and community at large. And apparently my group was very (unexpectedly) coordinated💛🖤💛 (and most of us didn't know each other).
