It is not required upon you to fast during Ramadan because it could harm you and your baby.

Take the blessing from Allah. Your acts of worship still counts. 🤲🏽

I felt alone!

After I gave birth to my youngest son…

I was discharged from the hospital but he was wasn’t. 😔

There was a bedroom attached to the ICU but it felted so cold and dark. I barely wanted to sleep in there but I couldn’t just leave the hospital without my baby.

He spent a night or 2 in the ICU and I just felt so alone. I said in this moment I never want another Mom to feel like this.

So this community was created for Moms. A place where we all can support each other with the highs and lows or motherhood, in-person events and sisterhood.

Food is the connection and also the best way to nourish your body during the postpartum phase. What we eat matters!

We also introduced the Free Annual Diaper Giveaways back in 2020 because the world was in shambles and community was slipping away.
We plan to get back to that this year for the 6th one In sha Allah (GodWilling)

5 Things you don’t want to forget when it’s time to head to the hospital
1. Snacks - Once you can eat it’s onnn! Pack life snacks such as energy bites/bars, whole grain crackers & cheese, nuts, fruit and/or coconut water

2. Personal Care Items like toiletries, slippers and shower shoes

3. Postpartum Underwear/Loose clothing
Don’t bother with fancy clothes -we are looking for comfort. The hospital will provide you with these underwear, pads, spray and peri bottle you will need unless you prefer a particular brand. Oh and the underwear is quite comfy.

4. Baby outfit- Just one or two if you want to take your own hospital pics while you are there. The hospital should provide you with gowns, onesies and swaddle blankets.

5. Car seat-the hospital won’t allow your baby to leave without this and will make sure you properly know how to strap baby in.
