Heading to bed early! I have a mama due any day now....my intuition is usually pretty good about birth - kinda feeling like I may get a call in the middle of the night! I know this Mama is READY to meet her sweet little, so I sure hope I get that call!!!!! G'night!

Great home visit with a very neat couple this evening. I am excited about this birth - it is always so neat and exciting to work with Yoga moms! This will be my first birth, also, at this birth center!!!

Waiting on a beautiful baby boy to join the world earthside! This baby is nice and cozy in his Mamas baby, so who knows! (who ever knows with natural childbirth!?!?). Excited!!!!

Excited to be teaching another prenatal Yoga series at Blue Anjou in Lewisville. Series of 6 classes starts 5/14, 12-1pm, for $85.00. Classes are infused with a mixture of great prenatal Yoga and Doula widsom and preparation! :) Spread the good word!

Cute blog. What was your top reason for hiring a doula, if you used (are using) one? For me...I knew I needed the support that another trained woman could provide me and my husband....and she was worth her weight in gold - both times! :)

Often times a Pedi will be quick to tell a mom to supplement because of 'low supply'..the breast is an amazing thing that usually responds to demand. Interesting article and I had some mixed feelings reading it, but overall, I am left to feel so blessed that I was able to legally homebirth my daughter - safely, blissfully, peacefully in our home surrounded by the most amazing women and my hubby. Birth options - all options - should be accessible to all!

Why we need to legalize home birth in all states to improve birth outcomes for all women.
