As an American Heart Association ambassador, February is a vital month for me. As the mother of a heart survivor and personal experience with heart health issues related to chronic stress. Let’s talk about simple steps for Physical Wellness without the pressure of rigid resolutions.

1. Small Plate, Big Impact: Instead of a radical diet change, try the "Tapas Approach." Focus on colorful, nutrient-dense portions that nourish your heart without the heavy, sluggish feeling of overindulgence. Portion control! Stop when you are 80% full.
2. The "Daily 20": You don't need a mountain to climb to find your peak performance. A 20-minute brisk walk daily can lower blood pressure and significantly reduce stress. Make it your "non-negotiable" appointment with yourself. Your heart will thank you!

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY: Intentions vs Resolutions ✨

Did you know that "Quitters' Day" for 2026 just passed on January 9th? If you feel your motivation waning or those big New Year’s resolutions slipping away, take a deep breath—this isn’t a sign to give up; it’s a sign to course-correct.

Resolutions are often "all-or-nothing" goals that feel like a failure if we stumble. Instead, let's pivot to setting Intentions.

Why Intentions Work:

Progress over Perfection: Intentions focus on the how and the why of your journey, not just a binary result.

Fluidity: Unlike rigid resolutions, intentions allow you to "rewrite the map" when life throws an obstacle your way.

Daily Alignment: An intention is something you can live into every single day, regardless of a slip-up.
