Phoenix Rising Cancer/Chemobrain Education Center This is a Community Forum for information, discussion and support for anyone who has been affected by School friends do not comprehend what is going on at home.

Our goal at Phoenix Rising is to present the facts of what you and your loved ones may go through while fighting cancer. We want you to have a true understanding about the changes that will happen and what to expect. Whether its chemotherapy, nutrition, chemobrain, or relationships changes, these are all things that are rarely "honestly" spoken about with your medical professional. On our website we offer multiple meetings, support groups, and outings in order to help. We would like to do Spring and Fall patient outings; as well arrange playdates for children effected by a parents cancer. This is not a therapy session just a few hour getaway with other kids going through same loneliness, heart ache. Also available in the privacy of your home, we offer family education. Video conferencing is also available for family members unable to be there but still want to participate along with the rest of the family. We are here to help your family to understand this journey. Its a daily journey and some people really need to know what is about to happen to their family member and how important it is to be a part of this journey to fight it together as one. Family support makes a huge difference in family member's recovery.
