The Choosy Chick is an online boutique dedicated to selecting the most effective, toxic free health and beauty products for retail. We also serve as an educational resource for consumers who want to learn more about the lack of regulation in the cosmetic industry, and the vast amount of beauty products on the market today containing toxic substances. There is a growing public awareness about reducing toxins in foods and household products, but there is comparatively little awareness about toxins hidden in the chemicals commonly used in shampoos, hand soap, cosmetics and baby lotions. Many stores claim to sell “natural” or organic products, when in fact they are anything but natural. At the Choosy Chick, we evaluate all of our products and their ingredients before we add them to our “shelf”. We are extremely selective about our product choices and use reputable resources to qualify ingredients. We will not be duped by "natural" looking packaging or "natural" sounding names. In addition, our preference is to work with companies that have eco-friendly, sustainable philosophies.
