Ultrasound-Guided Cryoanalgesia for Chronic Knee Pain

A 2025 study reinforces the effectiveness of Genicular Nerve Ultrasound-Guided Cryoanalgesia (GNCryo) as a minimally invasive option for patients with chronic knee pain due to osteoarthritis or post-TKA pain.

📊 Key Findings (90 patients, 9-month follow-up):
→ 58% of Patients Achieved ≥50% Pain Reduction
→ WOMAC scores improved from a median of 65.0 to 55.0

A great clinical training session in epidural adhesiolysis in Rome, Italy, on April 1st, at Ospedale San Paolo.

Conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ezio Amorizzo, 4 caudal epidurolysis procedures were performed as part of the training.

These sessions highlighted key procedural aspects:
• controlled epidural access
• catheter navigation within complex anatomy
• targeted delivery at the pathological site

A meaningful step toward integrating the Racz Procedure into clinical practice.
