Charmi is a Nutrition coach with experience in helping hundreds of men and women with their health goals, in the US and internationally. I believe in helping clients reach their health goals by teaching them simple food rules so that they can continue to be in the best shape of their lives. After attempting to transform my body with the help of a trainer who did not understand that desi food can be as healthy and weight loss friendly as "grilled chicken and broccoli", I decided that there had to be a better way to eat my dal & rice and still achieve my fitness goals. Studying the basics of nutrition has equipped me to guide my clients in their varying health goals with tremendous success all over the world. Try these for your next workout routine.

I love using mini bands to strengthen dormant muscles.

These are great for before a workout or on your off days from lifting.

What you see here:
✅ Crab walks
✅ Banded glute bridges
✅ Clam shells
✅ Banded goblet squats

As we age, strong glutes and hamstrings can help avoid injuries and knee/back pain.

I include these in the Cimply Strength classes once a week.

✈️✈️ Perimenopause travel edition🛬🛬

A travel workout using bands.

The goal of exercising during vacation is to maintain consistency and nothing else.

Often, we get back from holiday having taken a complete break from the very habits that should be our normal (you brush your teeth even on vacay right???)

Today’s workout aimed to hit main muscle groups. It was short and impactful.

Bands are a great travel must-haves. They don’t take up space and can be used in a a variety of ways to stay on top of your resistance training(a non-negotiable in your mature years!)

The exercises you see here are:

1&2: Warm up with band stretch and shoulder rotations

3: Banded squats

4: Standing rows

5. pushups

6. Good mornings (symbolic as if boring to the mighty mountain in front of me!)

7. Shoulder press

8. Split squats

9. Crab walks

The view was a sweet bonus!
