Switzerland. One of the magical places on this earth. The mountains. The waters. Flowers in bloom. One of the sacred spaces that still lives in my bones. There is something about Ireland that rearranges you from the inside.
The Irish have always known the land itself is prayer — that grief and joy can live in the same song, the same rain, the same impossible green.
St. Patrick wasn't a legend. He was a mystic who saw the sacred threaded into the ordinary. Who found the Trinity in a shamrock and chose love over resentment.
That spirit never left the land.

What a week, kids. I know many of you are just beginning to find your ground. Holding so much. I am reminded that in my voting lifetime, America has been close to a 50/50 split in presidential elections. And there is no “winner” when anyone feels their values and beliefs are discarded and disrespected regardless of “party” or election. We realistically live in the purple.

So here we are. And what do we do next?

Empaths, your body is on fire; honor it. My beloved blue and purple friends, notice it all and feel it all and keep loving. My beloved red friends with beloveds you love who are blue and purple, love them and honor them. My beloved blues who love beloved reds, love them.

At the end of the day, it is only love that transforms. We stand in this moment. In all that it asks of us. In gratitude, grief, and sorrow. And we all have choices and roads to walk for the life and love we want to leave behind for future generations. The Holy in the universe loves all Of us and all of Us. Read that again.

In the end, love always wins. Love is a verb.

Sacred travel shows when you least expect it. After 9 hours on the road with my mom, you make a reservation hours before your late arrival, to an unknown lodging, with low expectations, you arrive exhausted and you notice it’s an Amazing historic hotel (fav), Our Lady everywhere, all the trinkets of things you collect are there, the same toiletries from another favorite sacred place in the most magnificent Sicilian blood orange scent, the pillows are literally your favorite kind, and you wake up with gratitude to see the infamous shell (Camino) on your bed, your beautiful cousin making a surprise appearance, the best coffee and green chile quiche, and the aspens and cottonwoods in full glory. New Mexico for the win.
