Week Two: Done and Dusted βœ…πŸ’ͺ
12 weeks to go!

Nothing flashy this week, just steady work, getting my body and mind used to marathon training again. It’s been a while, and the long run definitely reminded me of that. It was a grind, but I eased off the pace, stayed patient, and got it done.

Looking forward to wrapping up next week. Every three-week cycle usually gives me a good boost, and I’m ready for that momentum. One step at a time, Mesa, I’m coming for you. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ”₯

This morning was nothing but love, laughter, and smiles β€” a reminder of why I run. πŸ’›

A few months ago, my cousin asked about my running class and wanted to train for a 5K. She showed up, stayed consistent, and built strength one workout at a time. Today she crushed it β€” running faster than she ever expected! I’m so proud of you, Sandy, getting to run beside you was such a gift. πŸ₯°

To top it off, two of my amazing friends earned new PRs today!! πŸŽ‰ They’ve worked so hard, and it was their moment to shine. I also got to watch another friend pace the sweetest little girl in all of Dallas. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¨

Everywhere I looked, I saw familiar faces, friends, and runners β€” all out there hitting goals and cheering each other on.

Running truly is a gift… and today reminded me just how special that gift really is. πŸ’«
