Mental health doesn’t age out. 💙

1 in 5 older adults experience mental health concerns—most often depression or anxiety—yet many never receive the support they need. Untreated symptoms can lead to isolation, worsen physical health, and increase su***de risk (especially among older men).

If this resonates, take one small step today: check in with an older adult you care about—a quick call, a visit, or “How are you really doing?” can open the door to support.

If your mental health has felt shaky lately, start here: the basics that regulate your nervous system. 💙

Better sleep, gentle movement, a few quiet minutes, clearer boundaries, real connection, and kinder self-talk aren’t “nice-to-haves”—they’re protective factors that can lower stress, support emotional regulation, and help you feel more steady day to day.

You don’t have to fix everything in January. Pick one to practice this week.

Which one are you focusing on first?

A gentle New Year reminder: taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be a full “new me” plan. 💙

For mental health, consistency beats intensity. Start small:
• drink water + eat something real
• step outside for 5 minutes
• take your meds as prescribed
• text one person back
• go to bed 30 minutes earlier
• ask for help if things feel heavy

One small step is still progress.

Know someone who might need to hear this? Share it with them. 🤍

Happy New Year from Perimeter Behavioral Health. 💙✨

As we step into 2026, we’re wishing our patients, families, and partners a year of steadier days, renewed strength, and support—especially for youth navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and big life transitions.

If your family is entering the new year needing help, you don’t have to do it alone.

Anxiety doesn’t always look like “panic.” Sometimes it shows up as trouble sleeping, constant worrying, irritability, or difficulty concentrating—and it can start to affect school, friendships, and daily routines.

If these symptoms are sticking around (or getting worse), it’s a sign to reach out for support. Help is available, and you don’t have to wait until things feel like an emergency. 💙

We're here to help.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Perimeter Behavioral Health. 💙🎄

This season can bring joy—and it can also bring stress, grief, or overwhelm. Wherever you are on that spectrum, you deserve support. We’re grateful for the families, referral partners, and communities who trust us to care for youth when it matters most.

Wishing you a safe, peaceful holiday season.
