Heard a thud on the outside of the barn last night as I was feeding and didn’t think much of it until heard a little squeaky cry for help. Went outside and lo and behold if it wasn’t Noel and Jack, but without Buck, who took a crash landing. Hey, you guys are late! What happened? Where were you last year? Where’s Buck? I had a zillion questions for them.

It’s going to be interesting few weeks until Christmas! More on them later - it’s cold so I need to hussle.

Events are fun but they sure take a lot of work!
Now to muck the barn because it didn’t get mucked yet today. Plus it’s cold. Temp is 44 but feels like 34. Now it says rain in 6 minutes and I haven’t mucked yet! 😩

Under another Dense Fog Advisory today. It really stayed around yesterday.

We had our photo shoot yesterday as well at Towne Lake Recreation Park. It was much occupied and the horses weren’t bad but not cooperative at times. I give them a break through as they had been stalled for the third day. Have a couple other photos to share later today. Course cant reveal the actual photos. I will say we took the simple route on decorating.

Good Saturday morning to everyone. This is where we went. Just trying to share some Christmas cheer for those that cannot get out and about. I’m not a pro at photography so bear with me. 🤣 And of course couldn’t film all of it but wanted to share some of it. I really like the military section. I’m glad they paid tribute to them for their service. Anyway, another busy day as we prepare for some Christmas photos.

Hello Friday and Friends. We made a blooper and didn’t get this posted. All is well. Just busy holiday schedules. Took a trip to Oklahoma today to pick up a friend. Now picking up another friend and going to see Christmas lights in Frisco. Yall have fun now and will try to share them later.

“Hey, You, out there. Have you invited your friends to come over and join us?” We are sooo close to the next rollover.

Yes, it’s cold outside. 39 with a real feel of 34. Breezy this morning with occasional rain and drizzle so we are being left up today so it won’t be so hard to clean us up for photos this weekend. My picture today was taken yesterday so still good. 😉

Thursday often flies under the radar. It’s not the daunting beginning like Monday, nor the celebrated finish like Friday — but it’s quietly an important day of the week. Thursday is the bridge between the hard work of the week and the sweet reward of the weekend. 😃 Hope it’s good for you. It’s National Cookie day - eat one for us!

Good news is another cold front is expected to arrive tomorrow evening with some rain! Uggh

On a more positive note, we get to let them out after being stalled for a couple of days. “Happiness is not something readymade; it comes from your own actions.”

We woke to a very cold morning. Seemingly the moisture that fell over the past few hours was brief. Will have to assess this as I make my way to the barn for morning chores. Stay in or let out - that will be the question. Forecast for the rest of the day is COLD. High today to be (only 4 degrees warmer than now) 38! 🥶 The picture is from yesterday. Will decide on my way to the barn if they can go out.

Monday is a new beginning. Make it count. Have a good one and keep warm.
