Our virtual Special Education course provides guidance to parents of children with disabilities as they learn about ways to support their child.

Support young entrepeneurs! Here are some awesome products from students in our district.

Did you know that some of our Prepare to Prosper (P2P) students produce various products such as bath items, dog treats, shirts, etc.? They generally sell them within the district (because they have limited time to work on them when they are not working on other skills), but they would like to take the opportunity to offer these popular quality products to the public before the school year ends.

MAKING SCENTS products available for purchase include soaps, sugar scrubs, luxury bath teas, room sprays, and hand sanitizers. P2P ENTERPRISES is currently offering their popular dog treats (made only with peanut butter, oats, and pumpkin) for sale.

Go to tinyurl.com/p2pproducts to place an order. Orders will close on MAY 14 to ensure time for them to be produced before the end of the school year.

*The goal of Prepare to Prosper (P2P) transition services is to enable students to transition seamlessly into adulthood based on their postsecondary goals by providing intensive transition experience and training to improve their vocational and/or independent living skills. Emphasis is on connecting students with the routines and schedules that they will access in adulthood.

"Google is currently looking for adults with speech impairments that make it difficult for them to be understood to beta test the app. They must use an Android phone, speak English, and live in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the United States."

Google’s Project Relate app makes it easier for people with speech impairments to communicate and use speech-recognition tech.

We've had a great 2020-2021! I am grateful that in the midst of all the uncertainties of the past year, this pandemic actually gave us additional time and opportunities to serve through Beyond Able. Now things are changing a bit and with less time and resources it is time for Remodeling! We will continue working to make this world a more inclusive place, but we’ll take a slightly different approach.
