Meet Dr. Bowlva Lee — Double Board Certified in Pain Management & Anesthesiology at Momentum Spine & Joint 💪
Q: What do you find most rewarding about your job?
A: When I see a patient stand up straighter or move their head or neck more easily after a procedure, it makes me feel like I’ve helped someone improve their quality of life. It reminds me that I’m doing something meaningful for the community.
Q: What made you want to get into healthcare?
A: I grew up without healthcare. Seeing family members get sick and not receive the treatment or care they needed was heartbreaking.
Q: What is your favorite hobby?
A: I work on cars for fun. I change shocks, control arms, tie rods, gaskets, alternators, brakes, fluids, hydraulics, superchargers, and more in my spare time. In fact, today after work, I’ll be working on a transmission.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: NYC Chinese food.
Q: Where did you grow up/spend your childhood?
A: I grew up mostly in Houston, TX, but also spent a lot of my childhood in NYC. Most of my family still lives in NYC and NJ. Some of my best childhood memories are from my time in New York.
