Dr. Brenda Wakefield, PhD—affectionately known as "Nana" and "the Legend"—is a proud wife, mother of three, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of one. As a veteran, minority, and woman business owner of Divine Holistic Center, Dr. Wakefield is a dedicated Coach, Bodyworker, Speaker, and Author. Her holistic approach to wellness is rooted in biblical principles and aimed at guiding clients toward optimal health through her Total Wellness Revolution Program. Dr. Wakefield’s journey began with a family health challenge in 1992, sparking her interest in wellness. Since 2007, her extensive education, culminating in a PhD, has equipped her to support thousands on their wellness journeys. Licensed in massage therapy, certified as a health coach and aromatherapist, and skilled in craniosacral techniques, Dr. Wakefield’s toolkit includes a range of alternative wellness practices. She emphasizes the importance of honoring God by caring for one's body and has built her practice on the belief that health is foundational to wealth and well-being. In 2004, a personal epiphany led Dr. Wakefield to pursue a career in holistic health, founding Divine Health & Wellness to bring natural, non-invasive wellness solutions to her clients. She advocates for proactive health management through self-awareness, gratitude, and consistent effort. Dr. Wakefield encourages others to value their health now rather than waiting until illness strikes, empowering clients to live fulfilling lives with a profound respect for the divine gift of life.
