Hope Squad is grateful for partners like Fay Rural Community Foundation ✨

Their support has brought Hope Squads to schools in Montana and Wyoming, giving students the tools to watch out for one another. Committed to impacting rural communities nationwide, they’ve chosen Hope Squad as their partner in youth mental health—helping students watch out for one another and build cultures of care where help is always within reach.

We're proud to work together to make an impact!👏

We're excited to reveal the theme for the 2026–2027 school year: Hope in Action 🌟

Hope in Action challenges us to turn optimism into effort—taking small, meaningful steps to brighten someone’s day, lift others up, and build a future where possibility becomes reality.

Let’s empower our schools and communities to step forward, speak up, and put Hope in Action in every hallway, every classroom, and every conversation.

Sometimes inclusion starts with something small. A simple comment. A kind word. A moment of noticing someone who might otherwise feel left out.

Hope Squad Alumni Spotlight ⭐

Former National Council Member and current Outreach Associate Micah Gallebo was recently recognized by Ohio State University as both Most Valuable Research Speaker and Most Persuasive Speaker for his research and speech on how social media impacts the mental health of kids and young adults.

Micah’s research highlighted a strong correlation between high screen time and increased mental health challenges, and he encouraged audiences to prioritize real-world connection—spending time with friends, getting involved in the community, and reaching out to others.

We love seeing Hope Squad Alumni continuing to lead conversations that strengthen connection and well-being.👏

At Ocean Springs High School in Mississippi, Advisor Brittany Oliphant helped lead a powerful Hope Week that reached all 1,900 students on campus. 💚

The week began with an 11-minute assembly reminding students that every minute matters when it comes to mental health. From gratitude journals and conversation prompts at lunch to bracelet-making and a schoolwide compliment campaign, the Squad created meaningful ways for students to connect.

Thank you to Brittany and the Ocean Springs Hope Squad for building a culture of care—and to the community partners who helped make the week possible!👏

"In a world where so many young people are struggling and feeling alone, Hope Squad helps to make those students see that they aren't alone, and they don't have to bear those burdens by themselves."

At St. Rose HS in New Jersey and in schools across the nation, the Hope Squad program strengthens connection, equips students to know when and where to get help, and builds a culture where talking about mental health is a sign of strength—not weakness. ♥️
