"In a world where so many young people are struggling and feeling alone, Hope Squad helps to make those students see that they aren't alone, and they don't have to bear those burdens by themselves."

At St. Rose HS in New Jersey and in schools across the nation, the Hope Squad program strengthens connection, equips students to know when and where to get help, and builds a culture where talking about mental health is a sign of strength—not weakness. ♥️

Hope Squad takes on South Carolina! 👏

The High Point Academy Charter School’s Squad was invited by Representative Sarita Edgerton and recognized on the State House floor.

After raising funds for the AFSP Out of the Darkness Walk and being recognized locally this fall, students had the opportunity to tour the State House, see government in action, and share about Hope Squad’s life-saving mission with leaders like Representatives Steven Long and Josiah Magnuson.

When students lead, change follows. We’re proud of these voices advocating for hope!

Being a teen today isn’t easy.

On World Teen Mental Health Day, remember:

✨ You matter.
✨ You are enough.
✨ You are not alone.

Today, check in on a teen in your life. Send a text, start a conversation, or spend time together. Tell them you're inspired by how they care about mental health.

Today it matters more than ever.

Inclusivity isn't just a word. It's an action. 💛

This month, we focus on making sure everyone feels seen, valued, and heard.

Let's celebrate our differences, lift each other up, and create communities where everyone belongs.

Together we thrive.

92 Hope Squad Members + 2 lunch periods = Countless positive interactions🌟

During their February Hope Lunch, Squad Members at Coronado HS in Nevada connected with peers, encouraged students to share uplifting texts and social posts, and handed out sweet treats and stickers to reinforce one simple message: Showing up with love makes a world of difference.

We love to see our Squads spreading hope!

Shout-out to the Boise High School Hope Squad in Idaho for showering their campus with snowflakes of kindness! ❄️

Students wrote positive messages, affirmations, and words of encouragement on paper snowflakes, then displayed them throughout the school.

A simple idea. A powerful impact.

Because in the coldest or toughest seasons, kind words can make a difference. 💛✨

Alumni Spotlight: Devin Duncan ✨

Former National Council Member, and now a member of our Outreach team, Devin was recently elected Student Body President at UNC Chapel Hill!

He shares that Hope Squad shaped him into an empathetic, intentional leader—teaching him that leadership isn’t about having all the answers, but about listening well, noticing the quiet signs, and creating spaces where people feel safe to be heard.

For Devin, leadership is about making sure people are seen—and creating more leaders along the way.
