✨Most of our farmers and producers have personal stories surrounding the negative health implications associated with conventional tea production. Some have even been hospitalized.
✨Conventional tea farming relies on some serious chemicals including “neonicotinoids“ primarily linked to concerns about the nervous and developmental systems and risks to bees/pollinators.
✨Studies in Japan have also detected perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), one of the “forever chemicals” (PFAS), in teas; PFOA has been classified as carcinogenic to humans.
✨The primary concern stems from chronic, long-term exposure to a “cocktail effect” of multiple chemicals, even at low levels, and the health effects of various metabolites which are less understood.
✨If tea is a daily ritual for you, why risk it?
One thing is for certain…
You will be exposed to far more toxins if your tea is not produced naturally.
