The Spring Equinox marks the moment when day and night stand in perfect balance.

For centuries, cultures across Europe celebrated this turning point of the year as the earth awakened from winter. Seeds stirred beneath the soil, flowers began to bloom, and the returning light promised new life.

Many of the symbols we associate with spring today ~ eggs, rabbits, blooming flowers, and sunrise celebrations ~ trace their origins back to these ancient seasonal festivals.

Ostara is a reminder that renewal is not only happening in nature, but within us as well.
