I’m extremely proud to share that I’ve been appointed as a National Physician Director for Cardiothoracic Surgery, Heart Failure & Transplant at HCA Healthcare!

In this national role, I'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with clinicians across the HCA Healthcare enterprise—one of the largest healthcare systems in the country spanning 20 states and nearly 200 hospitals. Together, we hope to elevate the standard of care for advanced heart failure and cardiogenic shock.

Quick trip to Chicago to give a presentation at the ASAIO annual meeting on mechanical unloading of the left ventricle during support. Best part was catching up with colleagues & friends like Dr Keshava Rajagopal. We were in the trenches together for 7 years (5 clinical + 2 research) during our general surgery residency at
