Fasting isn’t a magic fix… and if your body is already stressed, it can backfire fast.
Done right, though? It can support fat loss, blood sugar, and digestion—but it’s not just about skipping food. It’s about refocusing.
If you’re exhausted, not sleeping, or overwhelmed, fasting can raise cortisol (hello cravings + fatigue). Your body needs peace, not pressure.
Start here:
• Nourish your body
• Prioritize sleep
• Try a simple 12–14 hr fast
• Use that time to pray + focus on God
