High-Protein Shrimp Dumpling SautΓ© β perfect for the soft food stage after bariatric surgery ππͺ
π©βπ³ Youβll Need:
π§
ΒΌ cup green onion
πΏ ΒΌ cup cilantro
π₯ 1 cup chopped carrot
π₯¬ 1 cup chopped cabbage
π¦ 1 lb shrimp
π₯’ Β½ cup soy sauce
π 3 tbsp lime juice
π§ 1 tbsp garlic
π« 1 tsp ginger
π₯ 1 tsp sesame oil
πΆοΈ 1 tsp red pepper flakes
π₯ How to Make:
1οΈβ£ Finely chop carrot, cabbage, green onion & cilantro in a food processor
2οΈβ£ SautΓ© veggies over medium heat until softened
3οΈβ£ In a bowl, mix lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic & red pepper flakes
4οΈβ£ Turn heat to low, add sauce (add Β½ cup water if liquid cooks off too quickly)
5οΈβ£ Mince shrimp, add to pan & break up while cooking
6οΈβ£ Cook until shrimp is pink but not rubbery
